I am writing to let you know of a bakery that surpasses all other bakeries with their yummy bread. My boyfriend works in Grapevine at City Hall and he cannot stop talking about the wonderful breads that they make. I think it is wonderful that there is a bakery with the appeal this one has. I highly recommend it to anyone. I know it is one of Dallas' best restaurants!!!!!!

I'd like to put a note in for the Main Street Bread Baking Co. They use real ingredients, such as butter (no margarine ). The croissants taste like in Paris. There is a great variety of home baked breads and delicacies. They use French- roasted coffee, but I've been ordering caf? au lait made from the espresso machine. Ooh la la! Imagine my delight when I saw American Airlines miles showing up on my statement!

I guarantee that you won't be disappointed in this bakery. I am not French, but my French friends first told me about this bakery and some of them drive all the way from the other side of DFW to this bakery just so they have fresh baguettes for dinner.

You're right, I wasn't disappointed, and neither were our French friends! When I arrived on Saturday before my flight to Denver I was trying to figure out how to keep the baked goods fresh in my car parked for 2.5 days at DFW, since the bakery would be closed when I returned Monday night. Yasmine said that she would wait at the store until I arrive at 9pm. Nice gesture! And so my order of baguettes, croissants and misc. loaves were ready and fresh when I arrived Monday night. For our French friends, it was the first taste of REAL French bread that they have had in over a year.
